The team is happy to provide further information and advice to assist those with accessibility requirements, and they aim to provide an accurate description of their facilities and services to ensure customers have confidence when visiting them that their needs will be met.

Accessibility is a priority for Paradise Jet Boating, and they have taken steps to ensure that their facilities and services are accessible to all. The marina offers two accessible car spaces located approximately 25 meters from the departure terminal, with two additional reserved car spaces directly in front of the terminal. Customers can enter the office by a ramp, with a minimum opening width of 122cm in the departure terminal area. During the trip, customers can store their bags and belongings securely, with space available for strollers, wheelchairs, and other accessibility aids.

Passenger safety instructions are available in written format in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, making it easier for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, or those who may not speak English as their first language to understand. To board the vessel, customers must travel down a declining ramp that is 80cm wide at its narrowest point. Assistance can be provided if necessary, and all boat drivers are trained in first aid and CPR. The marina has male and female public toilets, including one unisex accessible toilet.

While service animals are welcome in the departure terminal, they are unable to accompany customers on the boat. However, Paradise Jet Boating staff are happy to supervise them in the office during the ride.

Carers card holders can avail of a 50% discount when accompanying their companion on the jet boat. The team at Paradise Jet Boating is always available to discuss individual accessibility needs and provide assistance where required. They are committed to making sure that everyone can enjoy the adventure of a jet boat ride and have a memorable experience.

How tall do you have to be to ride?
It doesn’t matter how tall you are we just recommend that you are at least 4yrs old. We do allow some 3yrs old children onboard if the parents feel that the child will enjoy the fast ride and spins.

Do you still operate in bad weather?
You are going on a jetboat so you are going to get wet anyway… so if it is raining YES we still operate. We do very closely watch the real-time weather radars and if there is any chance of dangerous weather then we may delay or cancel trips.

What do I need to bring?
Nothing. Just be ready to have some serious fun! It may be a good idea to slap on some sunscreen and have a big drink of water before your ride in the beautiful summer months (Dec – Feb).

What items can I take onboard with me.
Nothing. Unfortunately, you are not permitted to take anything on board, for two reasons – we need you holding on at all times, and if someone drops something and it hits you in the head that would be dangerous…. we are just trying to protect you.

Do you have lockers?
We have storage boxes where you can store all of your belongings that are locked and under CCTV while you are on your ride.

Can I Jet Boat if I am in a wheelchair or have a disability?
We take many people with many disabilities on the jet boat ride. If you are in a wheelchair we can help you into the boat, we just require you to be able to use your hands to hold on.

CERTIFIED –  Government approved tour through the protected Moreton Bay Marine Park.
The Moreton Bay Marine Park is a beautiful and picturesque part of the Broadwater. It has less traffic, is more natural and a favoured area of dolphins and other wildlife.

• Child prices apply to children aged 4-14 years. The minimum age is 4 years, and all children 10 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
